I've been considering starting a blog for a little while now and have decided to take the leap! You may know me from Facebook, Instagram, Ravelry or even YouTube. I plan on staying very active on all of those social media sites, and will hopefully be getting some videos up on YouTube soon too. But I just felt as if a blog would be a great place for me to put my thoughts into words.
If you've been following me you know that I have dealt with a lot of medical issues throughout 2018. That's been rough, as you can imagine, but there have been good things too. I'll write more about all of that soon.
I will also be writing a lot about my hobbies. I love knitting. Scratch that. I'm completely addicted to knitting. Obsessed! I hardly ever go a day without picking up my needles, if even for a few minutes. I like to crochet too but not nearly as often. As you can imagine there will be lots of yarny goodness. I've also recently gotten pretty addicted to reading, especially audiobooks. I love them. I think it will be fun to write about what I'm reading, where I get my books, how I organize my reading, and what I'm looking forward to reading.
And then, of course, there will be lots of writing about my life in general. I am a Christian and love Jesus with all my heart. The thread of my faith will run through everything I do here but it will not be overpowering. I'll be writing lots about my family, of course, They are the awesome ones in the photo! I have the most awesome hubby in the world so you will be hearing about him a lot. I'm so blessed to have him in my life. Our daughter is grown and lives about 4 hours away but she'll be popping up from time to time. And we have a super adorable puppy named Buddy. You can be sure there will be lots of fun posts and photos of him.
